• Coming in April!  We are having Rockin’ Barkin’ BBQ night at Paintsville’s Country Club Hall on April 27th from 7:00 pm to 11:00 pm.  Ol’ Blue BBQ is providing the BBQ and music provided by Pinkslip and Hiatus.  Come out and have a Rockin’ good time!  Pick up your tickets at Big Melon’s in Paintsville or from any member of W.O.W.  Seating is limited to 100.  Cost is $35.00 per person and $60.00 per couple.

• Look for us at the City of Paintsville’s Spring Fling on May 18th. W.O.W. will be hosting the Town Mascot contest and participate in this year’s parade.  In addition, please look for our booth were we will be selling “Deep Fried Oreo’s” and other treats as well as our new W.O.W. T-shirts!!
• Also, throughout the month of April through June  Girl Scout Troop 40 will be hosting a Shower to benefit W.O.W.  “April Showers Bring Animal Power!”   They will be collecting items for dogs/cats/etc with drop boxes available at various locations throughout Paintsville and Johnson County.  The Girl Scouts will also be making dog rope toys, dog beds, and cat nip toys from recycled materials.  They will also try to promote proper animal care through different sources of media.
• Saturday, June 1st will be a fun-filled Spaghetti Dinner/Auction with T.R.A.I.N at the Paintsville Recreation Center from 5:30-8:30 p.m.
• Coming up look for our Special Cookbook with all proceeds going towards the Johnson County Animal Shelter Project.
